Famed referee "Big" John McCarthy always thinks of Charles "Mask" Lewis (RIP) and Evan Tanner (RIP) when he hears the word "believe". It was a mantra for both legends of the sport:
Don't let people put limits on what you're going to do, believe in what you want to do, believe in what you need to do and how to do it and do it right, and just do it. And if everyone's telling you you're crazy, don't do it, just believe.
