Cody Garbrandt willing to give UFC title to friend and cancer survivor Maddux Maple

If Cody Garbrandt defeats Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 on December 30th, he will have achieved his dream of becoming the UFC bantamweight champion. But he is willing to give the title away to his friend, 9 year old Maddux Maple, and just keep a replica belt for himself. Maddux and Cody have both been an inspiration to one another as Garbrandt promised Maple years ago that if he kept fighting cancer and didn't give up, he would get to the UFC and bring him there with him.
