Ronda Rousey book “My Fight/Your Fight” coming out May 2015 (Also book cover)

Rousey’s memoir “My Fight/Your Fight” has been acquired by Regan Arts, the publisher announced Tuesday. The memoir is scheduled to come out in May and will be co-written by Rousey’s sister, Maria Burns Ortiz, a sports journalist who contributes to Fox News Latino and ESPN.com.

"Everyone has their own fight," says Rousey. "Through my journey to become the greatest fighter in the cage, I learned the concepts to conquer every battle outside of it. Hopefully readers can learn the same lessons I did -- without having to take as many punches in the face."

In 2015 Rousey defends her UFC women's bantamweight title against Cat Zinganoon Feb. 28 in Los Angeles, and is also the lead female star in the upcoming Entourage movie, which comes out in June, as well as a part of Furious 7, set to be released in April.

"Ronda Rousey has been victorious in life because he has heart, strength, discipline, and a sense of conviction," Regan Arts CEO Judith Regan stated. "She’s a true winner."
