3 Fighters that should come out of Retirement

Some fighters know the right moment to call it quits, and some fighters leave us wanting more. Here are three fighters that should climb their way back into the cage.

1. Nick Diaz

Don't think it's a good idea for Nick Diaz to call it quits from the UFC before he even reaches 30 years of age. He has the skill and will to continue on his road of greatness and with challengers such as Johny Hendricks posing such a threat to Georges St-Pierre's title reign, it might be possible for Nick Diaz to work his way to another title shot.

2. BJ Penn

At 170 BJ Penn has had a tough time with bigger and skilled fighters, but at 155 the only guy to best him was Frankie Edgar. And now Frankie Edgar has migrated south to featherweight and Penn no longer needs to deal with him. It might be very interesting to see how BJ Penn could do if he re-dedicates himself completely to the sport and makes a comeback at 155 in the UFC.

3. Gina Carano

Gina Carano is still one of the biggest names in women's mixed martial arts, even though she has retired from fighting to pursue acting. If she made a return to MMA competition in the UFC it would be amazing to see her fight again, and an eventual fight possibility with Ronda Rousey would be a massive fight.

BJ Penn still on the fence about retiring

BJ Penn, well-regarded as the greatest lightweight of all time, is still unsure as to whether or now he wants to permanently remove his four ounce MMA gloves, or make a return to the UFC. It's interesting to note that the fans have been able to convince him to return to 155 if he does come back, ant not fight at 170.
