Look at anger as a red light. Stop. You don't need to get mad at the red light, try and destroy it, and feel compelled to charge forward and do something hasty when you see a red light. Just stop. Don't act. Use the red light to stop and as a reminder to breath. Let the anger simmer down and proceed.
