UFC bantamweight Aljamain Sterling on self belief
Self-belief is something that only my mother would seldom teach me. And even for that, I'm grateful to have any it from at least one of my parents. I believe having self-belief is crucial for development of all kids, so that they're confident in their own abilities and their future, of being good or great at something they choose to be good at. So many times in my life I've doubted my abilities and it was the shackles to my own development and success as a student, an athlete, and a person. I still battle my pessimistic-demons and time, after time, I prove to myself that I can be just as great as anyone else, as long I want to be!
